Why FamilyAtlas

Set boundaries without reading private social messages.

FamilyAtlas gives families practical Android app limits, extra-time requests and separate parent logins without reading private social-app messages. Add HomeControl to pause, schedule and filter internet access for TVs and consoles.

Plan your setup

What you can use today.

Choose the rules your family needs: Android screen time, check-ins and family SOS, plus optional home-network controls. FamilyAtlas does not offer email or private social-message monitoring. Its text and iPhone image alerts remain Preview.

Cost and setup

Bark Premium, Bark Jr, Bark Home and Bark Phone are separate offers, so compare the combination you would actually buy, not Bark Home alone against a full app. Bark Phone plans add the cost of the device. For iPhone and iPad, Bark Sync is a smart-charger add-on ($6/month or $49/year) that scans content while the device charges.

Not found in their documentation

28 FamilyAtlas capabilities not found in Bark’s documentation.

FamilyAtlas has these on at least one platform (including preview), and we did not find them in Bark’s official documentation. That is not proof Bark lacks them; check with the vendor if one matters to you. Rows we did not check are left out.

Honest tradeoffs

Coverage to check: 7 capabilities.

Bark’s official sources list these, while FamilyAtlas does not have them, or has them only in preview where they are fully offered.

Try the tasks your family actually needs.

Test a school resource, a blocked app, a normal YouTube video and a Shorts video where supported. Check what happens away from home, without connectivity and after a permission changes. A feature name alone does not establish reliable coverage on your device.
