Google Analytics stays off until you choose Accept analytics. Only essential works just as well for joining the email list.

With permission, Google receives website interaction events, its own cookie identifiers and technical connection information. We do not send your signup email, confirmation token, FamilyAtlas account, page query strings or form values. Automatic search, form, outbound-link and download measurement is disabled.

Event-level retention is two months. Aggregated reports can remain longer. Your choice is remembered on this browser for twelve months. Withdraw at any time with Cookie settings in the footer; this stops future collection and removes the analytics cookies we can access. It does not erase past aggregated statistics.
